As we enjoy another beautiful fall day here in Minnesota I'm going to show my 3rd card using the sketch I used from World Card Making Day last Saturday. I wanted to use this stamp set, What's Cookin' for something different. I made a Halloween and a Christmas card with this sketch. I made this last one as a birthday card.

As I mentioned in my video, this stamp set and dies would make great Recipe pages. I used to run a monthly stamp club where I would design 8" x 8" recipe pages around the hostess' recipes. We built a recipe book along the way full of delicious recipes and the beautiful pages as we went. This was many years ago but It would be fun to do this again. Even virtually. Let me know if you are interested in participating in a monthly Recipe club. I can send you more information on it. I did a Facebook Live video on Saturday showing some cards made with this sketch.
The Christmas card I shared using this sketch was made with the Christmas Season bundle from the Holiday 2021 catalog. The measurements of the layers on this card are as follows:
Base layer: Early Espresso cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"(folde in half for form card).
Layer 1: Crumb cake cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2: Painted Christmas designer paper 2" x 4"
Layer 3: Painted Christmas designer paper 1 3/4" x 5"
Layer 4: Painted Christmas designer paper: 1 3/4" x 4"
Layer 5: circle cut from the layering circles dies out of soft seafoam cardstock

I had some fun with this card. It is a re-make of a card by Dawn Griffith. She did a version with the Darling Donkeys back during January 2021 Sale-a-bration. These sheep are celebrating a birthday in a big way! This card has a lot of detail to it but it's not terribly difficult and was very fun to make. We made this in my September stamp club and the ladies seemed to love it! Here is a view of the front, the front flap opened and the inside of the card.
Isn't it fun?! I am currently running an in person and virtual stamp club hybrid. What that means is that you can join and come make the cards in person at my house or you can do it virtually from the comfort of your own home. Hi, welcome back! My card today is one we made in my September stamp club. It's a simplified version of a card made by Maheswari Rajaguru. I love a pop of black in a hand-stamped card. It makes almost any color stand out. We stamped the background and the focal point all with images from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set. This stamp set is a Sale-a-bration stamp set. It is FREE with $100 purchase through September 30. The only stamp that isn't from the stamp set is the greeting. The stamp set comes with greetings but I wanted to make this a birthday card so I used a horizontal happy birthday stamp from the Artistically Inked stamp set.
You can line up the inside image with the outline pretty well free hand but we used the Stamparatus tool to get consistent results. All supplies can be ordered on my website. For a list of supplies used to make this card please see below.

I created this penguin card on a Facebook Live video this week. I used a simple layout with a twist. The main image is a little more putzy than the other cards I made with this layout but the layout is still simple.
