This is my card for Tamara's recipe design team challenge #25. The recipe challenge was to use felt, polka dots and something sparkly.
- Felt- I used the large snowflake from the snowflake flurries in the holiday mini. I finally used one of the large ones!
- polka dots - it's subtle but it's there. I stamped the Polka Dot background stamp on the top note die.
- Something sparkly- You can't really tell from the photo but the whole circle of Mr. Twigster is sparkly. After stamping and coloring him I dabbed the whole circle in versamark and sprinkled irridescent ice embossing powder over it and embossed.
I wanted to try a little different color combo with Mr. Twigster because all of the Twigster cards starting looking alike. Between the Ski Slope designer paper and the Holiday Treasures holiday paper I could hardly make a Twigster card without the. I did use a piece of the ski slope designer paper behind the top note die but I wanted to throw some pink pirouette in there to add a little something different. I gave Mr. Twigster a pink and red striped scarf and I colored my red striped grosgrain ribbon with my pretty in pink marker to color it. The greeting is from the Cheery chat rub-ons which are still 20 percent off with a $20 purchase through the end of December.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
