Friday night was my Big Shot VIP event. Any customer in mine or my downline's customer group could come to this event if they purchased the Big Shot starter kit or a cumulative $200 worth of big shot products from us. Kristina and I planned this event. The first picture is of us standing in front of the Love banner we made from our Sizzix pennant die. We had so much fun picking out the fabrics.
Next are the cupcakes I made for the event. I made cupcake picks with my sizzix hearts die and the new 3 heart punch that is part of the Love You Much bundle.
This table was set up for participants to take a snack break. I didn't make the placemats. I bought those from Kohls. Aren't they so cute?! What you can't see very well is that I made little decorative straws for their drinks with the sizzix birds and blooms and the sizzix buttons die.
This Valentine treat pouch was one of the projects they made. This was a CASE from Barb of Barbstamps. We used the smaller pennant from the pennant die and the stamps and designer paper from the Love You Much Bundle.
Next up is a circle card using all Sizzix - no stamping! This was a case from a card another demonstrator brought to my upline's house. This uses the scallop die #1 and scallop die # 2, birds and blooms(flip the bird!) and the Join in the Cheer Decorative strip.
The final project I didn't case! Kristina and I came up with this one together. We started with a jumbo clothespin. You can get these at Oriental trading. We covered it with Sweet Always designer paper. Love this paper! We die cut with fun foam one of the hearts from the hearts die cut set. Next we die cut two flowers from the designer paper with the Sparkle flower die cut and die cut a button in fun foam and designer paper with the buttons die. This buttons die is so versatile! Whenever I have leftover small scraps I like to die cut a bunch of buttons and small flowers up. If you die cut fun foam and glue it underneath the button it gives it dimension and looks like a real button! We finished it up with tieing pumpkin pie, pretty in pink and white grosgrain ribbon around the clothespin.
This last project was a gift to the Big Shot VIP customers. There were many versions of this calendar running around blogland. I think the first person to introduce this was Nancy Morgan from PaperSmiles. She has included a tutorial on it too so check it out here.
Cambria tweaked Nancy's version and I tweaked Cambria's version. This is the final result.
This was a fun event! We'll be doing this once a quarter for all those who qualify for the rest of the year. If you would like to be a part of this you can by purchasing the Big Shot Starter kit of by purchasing $200 cumulative in Big Shot sales with me or one of my downline. Our next VIP event will be in April.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great weekend!
