Milk carton tote tutorial

This little mini milk carton Sizzix die from Stampin' Up! has been wildly popular!  I made a tote carrier that will hold four of the mini milk cartons.  Here it is:

The measurements for the cardstock to make the tote are:

Boxes: 2 pieces 6 1/2 x 4 3/4(score 1 1/2 inches around all 4 sides of both pieces)

Handle: 1 piece 4 3/4 x 3 1/4

Cupcake Goodies

It's been awhile since I've posted anything cupcake.  I am a cupcake lover like so many of you.  They are just so cute and little!  My goddaughter's birthday party was Saturday and this is what I gave her:

 
They are starting to notice a theme.  My son, Nick, already knows I'm trying to have my cupcake obsession rub off on her.  He accused me of it at her party.  I'm guilty and proud of it! Here's her gift bag:

If you can believe it, I ran out of time to make her a special cupcake card so I had to pull one from my stash.  Luckily, I have a few with cupcakes on them!  LOL!

 
This worked out great too because she was turning 3 and there are 3 candles!

It was a hit!  This will go great with the plush play cupcakes I gave her last year. NowI can scrapbook the pictures of her birthday will all of the cupcake embellishments I've been collecting in my craft room.  hehehe.  It's all a diabolical plan to use more cupcake goodies!

Simple Butterflies

I saw this beautiful card by Julie last week.   I wanted to incorporate some of the ideas of her card for a party I was doing but felt I needed to simplify it.  Here is my version.

Recipe:  Stamps:  With All My Heart

Ink:  Chocolate Chip

paper:  Cardstock vellum, Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Sending Love specialty paper

Other;  Chocolate Chip satin ribbon, stampin' dimensionals, butterfly Sizzix embosslit, border trim Sale-a-bration punch, white shimmer paint

My 12 year old nephew had his birthday party last night.  This afternoon we are off to my goddaughter's birthday party.  She's turning 3 and I love to shower her with cupcake goodies!  I'm trying to mold her into a cupcake lover.  It's not too difficult at this young age.  They make the cutest little things for little girls! I still need to make her card.  I'll post that and her birthday goodies later.

Haitian Disaster Relief

On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope.  You can make a difference!  From now through Feb.28, 2010, $2.00 from every sale of I Heart Hearts stamp set will be donated to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

For the Birds!

We made this card at a party last week.  The paper is from the Sale-a-bration paper pack you can earn for free and the bird on the branch are all part of a new punch in the Occasions mini catalog.  I hadn't done a joyfold card in a long time so that's what I did.

Love Bandit

This is my fave stamp set from the Occasions mini catalog, Love Bandit.  So stinkin' cute!  This is actually a window card(kinda hard to tell), made with the movers and shapers Sizzix die.  I also used Vintage Labels, a Sale-a-bration free product.

Ink:  Basic Black, Versamarker(for blending), and Real Red Stampin' write marker

Simple Fox

I was just playing with the stamp set, Fox and Friends, and came up with this simple card. I used the new epoxy chocolate chip brads.  These are so yummy and at only $3.25 for a package, they're a bargain!

Ink:  Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip

Paper:  Sweet Pea Designer paper pad, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Apricot Appeal

Frilly Owl

You can't go too over the top when it comes to Valentines IMHO.  Lots of pink, red, glitter, and frills.  This card fits under that category.  It's made from one of my favorite stamp sets from the mini catalog, Love Bandit.  I used a sketch from the Monday Mojo sketch blog.  I punched out the the tree top with the full heart punch and some Christmas dp.  The tree is kind of shaped like a heart anyhow so I thought this would be a great alternative to cutting it out by hand.  We made this in last week's stamp club as well.

Foxy Birthday

Today's card was a project we made in stamp club last week.  The fancy square frame is made from just the scallop trim corner punch.

Mini Milk carton

This mini milk carton die from Stampin' Up! is so adorable.  It's a great size for putting little Valentine treats.  We made this one in stamp club last night.
