This card is a little sneak peek from the Summer mini catalog that goes live this Saturday, May 1.  I stamped it on Whisper White cardstock with Jetblack Stazon and colored it in with a Versamarker and ink pads.  I really love this method of coloring!

My Stamp and Scrap sale was a big success!  Thank you to all of you who stopped by.  It was so fun to see so many ladies excited about their stamping/scrapping finds!  We will definitely continue doing this sale on an annual basis in April but we are also thinking about having one in the Fall this year.  So if you missed out on this one stay tuned for the next one!

Triple Treat

I hope you aren't getting too sick of the ice cream stamp set.  It's where my mojo is going lately and I have to go with the flow! lol.  Ice cream is my mom's favorite dessert.  I definitely get my sweet tooth from her!  Her and my dad used to visit me at Bridgemans when i worked there in high school.  They would order turtle sundae's.  Yum! 

This card was a reject for a swap I'm in.  I came up with something better.

Pink Icecream

I haven't had much time to play in my craft room lately because I'm getting ready for my Stamp and Scrap sale this week.  I did make this little card last week.  I used some In Colors that are returning to the color collection this July and teamed it with Soft Suede that is staying part of the color collection.  It's so fun combining colors that haven't been before!

3rd Annual Stamp and Scrap Sale!!!

It's time for our 3rd annual Stamp and Scrap Sale!  Dozens of stampers and scrappers are selling their new and gently used rubber stamps, papers, scrapbooks, embellishments, storage, tools, etc.  What's old to them is new to you!  We're getting the sale ready so I don't have pictures to show you yet but here's a few photos of last year's sale to give you an idea of the quantity we're talking about.

I've always been partial to Hawaiian themed parties so the new stamp set in the Summer mini catalog, Tropical Party, had to be mine!  I used a sketch from the Mojo Monday blog as a starting point.  Don't we all need a starting point?

I used a lot of new product on this card.  Check it out in the recipe.

Two scoops of Spring!

Nothing gets the juices flowing quite like new stamping toys!  I got my pre-order from the upcoming Summer mini catalog yesterday.  Just another perk of being a demonstrator-getting to order product early!  I busted open the box and just gazed upon all of the wonderul new product.  While my 10 year old was playing video games with his friend, I was next door in my craft room getting inky! Club cards

i had stamp club last night.  I love my stamp club nights!  Showing the ladies some new techniques and fun ideas!  We made the tulip card with the 2-step bird punch from the Occasions mini catalog. Punch out the wing of the bird.  I punched out 3 wings out of the melon mambo and 2 wings out of the So Saffron.  Sponge around each piece with a darker shade of ink.  I used Pink Passion to sponge around the Melon Mambo and More Mustard to sponge around the Saffron.  It adds so much warmth when you do this.

Paper:  Sweet Pea designer paper pack, chocolate chip, kraft, so saffron, melon mambo, whisper white, old olive

Color Renovation

Stampin' Up! is doing a Color Renovation!  It is time to freshen up the color palette.  We'll be saying goodbye to some old color favorites, bringing back some In color favorites and introducing 5 new colors.  The color families will now be arranged into colletions of 10.  Here is the new color collections:

In additon 5 new In Colors will be introduced July 1 with the new catalog.  These new In Colors will be around for 2 years(instead of 1 year previously) and 5 new In Colors will be rotated in each year for a total of 10 In Colors starting in July 2011!

Although I am sad to see a few of my favorite colors go I am excited for some of the past In Colors Stampin' Up! is bringing back!  Can you say Riding Hood Red?!  Baja Breeze!  Oh my!  This new color palette is a fresher, more up-to-date offering of colors that I know you are going to LOVE! 

The new color collection rolls out July 1 with the new catalog.  You may want to stock up on your favorites that are retiring.  Cardstock and reinkers are going to start flying out the doors so get yours now!
