My son, Sam, and I were going through the drive-through at Wendys' after his gymnastics on Saturday when we found the person through the speaker on the drive-through, the person taking our money, and the person giving us our food were in bad moods and very unenthusiastic. That started a conversation between Sam and I that no matter where you are and what you are doing you may as well make the most of it and have some fun. He said when he gets a job(at Papa Murphys where his sister works) he's going to greet people in a really friendly way and say stuff like, "Hey welcome to Papa Murphy's! What can I hook you up with? " or "would you like some free cookie dough?" I told him he better watch it with that last one or he may find himself out of a job! The point is, make people happy and have some fun yourself! You'll be happier too. I told him, "Life is a party and everyone's invited!" We came home laughing about it and my daughter was wondering what got into us. I shared with her the story and she loved the saying I came up. This saying pretty much embodies my son Sam. He is a funny, happy kid and likes to make people laugh. He sure makes me laugh!
This is how I feel about stamping. It's something that makes me really happy and it's a way I can bring joy to other people too! It wouldn't be near as much fun for me if I didn't have my customers and friends to share it with.
I do have a card to share with you. I continue to carry on a love affair with stamped images of cupcakes! I pre-ordered this hostess stamp set from Stampin' Up! called, "A Cherry on Top". The cake dome is stamped with white stazon on a window sheet and white embossing powder embossed on it. This was also my swap card for the WOW swap I am in. I can't wait to get back the swaps from the other ladies!
I had my Stampin' Up! new catalog Open House today so my day was filled with fun for me and my customers and friends! Sharing what I love! That's what it's all about. I hope your day was filled with fun and laughter!
Thanks for stopping by!
