I saw this adorable Halloween card on Pinterest and knew I had to give it a try, giving it a Stampin' Up! twist.
I love the whimsy of it! The jar is stamped on the crumb cake cardstock and then I die cut the window sheet and placed it over the stamped jar. I glued the clear jar down in strategic places that wouldn't show like under the greeting and the twine and button that is wrapped around the mouth of the jar. The sticks are thin pieces of soft suede cardstock. I adhered Stampin' Up!'s adhesive sheets to the Soft Suede cardstock first and then cut them into thin strips. That way the adhesive was already on the thin cardstock and I didn't have to worry about adhesive or glue oozing out.
My husband had a doctor's visit yesterday. They unwrapped his soft cast and took some new x-rays. The ankle seems to be healing nicely. It looks like surgery won't be necessary. Yes! We go back in in a couple of weeks and have another x-ray and if that looks good he will get a boot and start putting weight on it. He is still in a wheelchair. His ribs, back, and shoulder blades continue to heal. He's not sleeping well because it's hard to get comfortable. But the worst is behind us! We have had some wonderful friends, neighbors and family bring over meals which has been such a great help! One less burden to worry about.
Thanks for stopping by today!
