This was the second card we made in stamp club this month. I wanted to create a "skirt" with the Crumb cake tulle. I did this by running a strip of sticky strip across the card and gathering the tulle haphazardly across pressing down on the sticky tape as you go. I cut a length of tulle triple the width of the card so there was plenty to gather. This tulle is on sale in the Clearance Rack on my website while supplies last for only $2.79.

I used the Seasons of Style paper pack color combination for this snowflake card, and the winter frost paper pack color combination on the reindeer card before this. I think cards can start all looking alike after awhile when the same stamp set is used with the expected paper pack. Like blue paper with snowflakes. It's good to switch things up sometimes.
Christmas is approaching. I guess that means I should finally take the Halloween off my mantle and get out the Nutcrackers. We usually do the big Christmas decorating on Thanksgiving weekend. Maybe I will gradually pull some out before that.
Thanks for stopping by today!
