This was one of my swap cards at Convention for the Something New swap. I stamped the middle of the flower in Daffodil Delight ink, punched it out with the small scallop circle punch and then dabbed it with Versamark. I then embossed with Heat and Stick powder to make it really sticky and poured Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top, and heated one last time. It gives it such all over sparkle!
Here are the rest of the items I used:

I have been experimenting with different recipes now that we are settling into our new home in Texas and I have been able to shop for the appropriate ingredients. The other day I was excited about a new meatball and spaghetti sauce recipe. I made the new recipe and some garlic bread and called everyone down for dinner. When everyone got to the table I realized I didn't make any noodles! Spaghetti with no noodles! Hah! I was so focused on the new meatballs, sauce and garlic bread that I forgot. Then I rushed the noodles and they came out bad. Oh well. I will redeem myself and make everything correcty next time.
I have had some successful recipes too. I always ask everyone if they like it and if I get at least the majority saying they like it then I will make it again. My teenage boys can be hard to please that way and often don't agree on what they like. Picky palates are hard to please.
I'm very excited about a new stamp set in the Holiday catalog I have been playing with! One of the images is a Nutcracker and I got to color him in with my Blendabilities! Once I get the image made into a card I will share it on my blog here.
Thanks for stopping by today!
