I made this lovely card at my friend, Melanie's class. The flower is the stamp, Blended Bloom. It's great for coloring in but look how lovely it looks embossed with white embossing powder on vellum! It's been awhile since I played with vellum. It reminds me of all of the lovely things you can do with vellum. It gives me some ideas I want to play with.
The colors used are Melon Mambo, Smoky Slate and Whisper White. Melanie says she is stuck on these colors right now. Do you ever do that? I know I do! I start digging on a certain color combo and I want to keep using it.
In the middle is one of the vintage faceted designer buttons threaded with the whisper white bakers twine. Just the perfect touch!
