Christmas tags

Are you going crazy running around getting ready for Christmas?  I know I was, until I reminded myself to slow down, take a few deep breaths and realize that this is all self inflicted.  It's so easy to get caught up in the busyness.  But the real reason for the season is Jesus' birth.  He brought us peace and joy.  Why not accept that gift?  For me, there are such high expectations for the celebrations.  I want to make everything just right for my kids and family.  It will all work out.  It's mostly about being with family and celebrating the occasion.

One of the things I like to do is make special gift tags for the presents I give to family and friends.  We made some at Mireya's Stampin' Up! party last weekend.

I like to keep the tags and re-use them the next year or put them on a scrapbook page.

Minnesota Stamping Class!

Penguin Box

I had my first stamping party in Texas this past weekend!  I am so excited to get my business going here!!!  A big thank you to the hostess, Mireya!  I made this penguin box for her and filled it with stamping goodies as a thank you to her for hosting.

 

 

This was the packaging for the hostess gift Mireya received at her party last Saturday. I stamped the circle from Work of Art stamp set in white craft ink all over the kraft box. The Bermuda Bay wide striped ribbon was wrapped around and tied in a bow. I hung the penguin tag with linen thread from the ribbon bow. The penguin is from the Snow Place stamp set. There is a coordinating Framelit set for the Big Shot for this stamp set called, "Snow Friends". All products can be ordered on my website here: http://myhappystampingplace.stampinup.net
