Progress is sloooow going on the craft room.  My husband wasn't happy with the way the raised panel doors were turning out so he is redoing a bunch of them.  This is the first time he has made raised panel doors so there was a learning curve. He has it figured out now I think so he will get back on track.  So no new pictures to show progress.  It will get there.

 

May is going to be a very busy month!   My son, Sam, is making his confirmation next weekend and my sister, Mary Jo, is coming to visit.  She is his sponsor.  Yay!  This will be her first visit to us since we moved to Texas.  My daughter, Rebecca, graduates the second weekend in May.  My husband and I are flying up to Minnesota for a whirlwind weekend to see her graduate.  She is an elementary education teacher.  So proud of her!  Then in early June, my son, Nick, is graduating high school.  Sam is also learning to drive and hopes to get his driver's license this Summer.  Lots of milestones for us this year!

I'm really hoping to be in my new craft room by Summer.  Then I could be stamping with the new catalog goodies in my new stamp room!  Yay!

It's that time of year!  The Stampin' Up! retirement list for the Big Catalog 2015/2016:  You can find it here

Retiring products are available through May 31 or while supplies last.  A portion of the items on the list are at a discounted price.  Get them while you can!

 

I have been MIA from my blog lately.  That's because my husband has been hard at work building me a new craft room!

Do you want to see a few pics of it in progress?  Of course you do!  Here you go.

 

My current craft room is mayhem.  It is tables set up with piles of stuff everywhere.  It is is serving as storage for my ebay inventory so it's difficult to create in there.   Once this new craftroom is done I will be LIVING in it!  I can't wait!  Doug is doing it COMPLETElY from scratch.  I mean EVERYTHING!  Custom cabinets, building raised panel doors.  Piecing the different parts of the panels together, the electrical, paint, sanding, flooring, lighting, building custom cabinets and even building the countertop himself.  I know I am so lucky to have a husband who can and will do this for me!!!  He has been working on it since January.  He has spent countless hours on it.  There still is a fair amount to go but the worst parts are most likely over.  The sanding is probably the worst part.  He does real quality work.  I don't really know when it will be done.  He keeps plugging away on it.  Are you interested in seeing updates on the project?  Let me know and I will post the progress.

 

The new catalogue is on it's way.  It will begin in June.  So much fun!
