Greetings! I'm still over here in my little corner of the world in our tiny little apartment waiting for our house to be built. I don't have any space for stamping but I miss it so I signed up for a swap with fellow demonstrators for cards made out of product from the upcoming holiday catalog. One swap is a Christmas themed swap and the other is anything else out of the Holiday catalog. I did this for multiple reasons. I knew it would force me to stamp even though I don't have the space and all of my stuff around me. I also wanted cards back from others for fun card ideas to share with you. And it's fun! So I ordered my supplies from the demonstrator pre-order(demonstrators get to order a month early. A fun demonstrator perk!) and signed up for the two swaps.
I set up a banquet table in our "living room" and got to work. It was crowded and challenging but also so much fun! Here is a picture of my set up.
Pretty chaotic right? But let's face it: many of us don't have the ideal set up for stamping and crafting but we make it work if we love it enough. So I cranked out 24 or so of the following cards for the Christmas swap.
This is a z-fold card. Pretty easy. You just score the card in 1/2 at the 5 1/2" mark and again at 2 3/4" mark. Then fold in a z to form the card. I used the pretty papers from the Festive Farmhouse paper pack. I colored in Santa with stampin' blends my favorite alcohol markers. All of the details of what I used for the cards are below.
