I did a Facebook Live video the other day using the background stamp, Breathtaking Bouqet. I gave some tips on stamping it using the Stamparatus. I promised to complete the card and post it and this is what the finished card looks like. If you haven't seen the video you can view it on my Facebook page here.
I used my stampin' blends to color this in. You can use an aquapainter and ink pads too. You could leave it uncolored, color a small portion of it, or emboss it. Each will give you a different look.
I hope you are hanging in there will the whole social distancing thing. It has been helpful for me to get into my craft room and do something creative. You may want to give that a try. It may get your mind off of it for awhile. I think we can get too wrapped up in worry and stress ourselves out. Worry is a waste of your time and energy. Pour that into something else. I have been sending out cards to family members. I'm going to continue to send out cards to others. Wouldn't we all love to get some happy mail in the form of a hand-stamped card? Especially in these times. It's a way to brighten someone's day and establish connection that we all crave.
If you are in need of crafty supplies Stampin' Up! is still shipping out orders. It will take a little longer than normal as they have practices in place to make the work area safer for all including splitting hours so there isn't as many people working at one time. I just placed an order of some basic supplies to keep fueling my creativity.
The supplies for this card are listed below. You can order any or all of them on my website.
Stay safe and sane!
