I have a problem. I love to make cards but I'm not so good at sending them. Ridiculous really. Why is it so hard to put the finished card in an envelope, address it and mail it? This card is my Mother's Day card for my mother. I haven't sent it yet. To be fair I sent her a gift a week early and called her on Mother's Day. This card will be in the mail tomorrow. I promise!
I told myself during this time of social isolation that I was going to send cards and I have. I have sent my mom 3 other cards in the last few months. Three of my siblings have had birthdays and I've sent them cards. One of them was late. Oops!
For this card I used the Painted Harvest stamp set. It is retiring from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog. Get it while you can. This is truly the best flower stamp set I've used in quite some time. It is very easy to make beautiful textured flowers with this stamp set. I found a similar card on Pinterest. I changed the colors and the ribbon and added adhesive backed sequins. These are fun to use!
My mom looks beautiful in purple so I always think of her when I see this color. This stamp set has multi step images. You use a light color for one image, you lay a second image over in a darker color and a third one for the middle. That makes it easy to get a beautiful textured image.
To snag this stamp set or any of the other retiring products you can order them here. The list of products used on this card see below.
Thanks for stopping by today!
