Today I did a Facebook Live video on my Facebook Page for World Card Making Day. I gave the cutting dimensions for the card I made so that you could make the card along with me using supplies you have on hand. If you didn't catch me Live you can still go to my page and view it. Here is a link.
In case you want to make this card with what I used or with what you have on hand, here is the information:
Stamp set: Snowman Season
Paper: Whisper White, Misty Moonlight, Snowflake Splendor Designer paper
Ink: Memento Tuxedo black ink, Whisper White craft ink, Misty Moonlight ink
Stampin' Blends: Basic Black, Petal Pink, Old Olive, Real Red, Daffodil Delight
Embossing Folder: Winter Snow
Other: Snowman builder punch, blue adhesive backed gems, stampin' sponge, stampin' dimensionals
If you don't have what I'm using, I suggest another punch or dies like the cat punch, dog builder punch, pine tree punch, etc. This will be your main focal point so you want something with impact.
The embossing folder you use should be something that coordinates well with your punch or die set that you are using.
Paper cutting dimensions:
Cardstock base: Whisper White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"(or whatever you want to use).
Whisper White: 1" x 4" (this is what I'm using to stamp my greeting)
Whisper White: 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"(layering piece)
Misty Moonlight: 2 1/4" x 5 1/4"(this will be run through the die cutting machine with an embossing folder)
Misty Moonlight: 1 1/4" x 4"
Designer paper: 4" x 5 1/4"
Have a greeting on hand to stamp your greeting on the 1" x 4" strip.
Here is a picture of the card I made.
I'm doing a give-a-way. Go to this video and leave me a comment by midnight Sunday night, October 4. On Monday I will draw a name from those that comment and give them a pack of gold faceted gems. You must reside in the US in order to qualify for the prize.
I challenge you to make a card this week and actually mail it to someone. Who wouldn't love to get a hand-stamped card in the mail?! You could just make someone's day!
Thanks for stopping by today!
