Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog Retiring List!!!

The Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog comes out a month early this year- in May! That means there is a retirement list of products from the current catalog. Some of the items on the list are discounted and some are full price. All items are while supplies last. If you have your eye on something grab it right away! Some items sell out almost instantly! Please note, the photopolymer stamp sets are getting an upgrade. The ones that are carrying over will have the images printed on the front of the stamp set(like they already are) AND on the inside of the cover as well. It will be easier to see what stamps go in the set when the case is opened. The 2 clear sheets the stamps are sandwiched in will no longer have the stamped images on them. That means there are new item numbers for those stamp sets carrying over that are affected. That's why you will see some with 4 asteriks by them. Also, if an item in currently in a bundle but it won't be sold in a bundle in the new catalog(but it still will be in the upcoming catalog) there will be 3 asteriks by it.

Spring is coming!

Signs of Spring are in the air! The weather has gotten warmer in most parts of the country, daylights savings time is this weekend(can you believe it?) and this new butterfly bundle from Stampin' Up! screams Spring as well.

This butterfly bundle is an early release product from the Stampin' Up! annual 2021/2022 catalog. It includes a stamp set, coordinating die cut set, designer series paper, and birch colored textured paper. You can purchase items as a bundle or individually. Pretty Perennials

It's March and the hope of Spring is in the air! Here in Minnesota we are enjoying temperatures in the 40's this week with the promise of 50's by this weekend! With Spring around the corner it makes me think of pretty flowers. This stamp set and die cut bundle, Pretty Perennials, is at the top of my list to create cards with!

There are some milestone awards that Stampin' Up! demonstrators can achieve. Some select demonstrators have reached the milestone of 1,000,000 in sales over their Stampin' Up! career. That's a lot of stamps sold! When a demonstrator reaches this milestone it is much celebrated. One of the ways these million dollar achievers are celebrated is allowing them to collaborate with Stampin' Up! designers to create their own stamp set. You will see an emblem next to the stamp set when it is one from one of the achievers. The Pretty Perennials bundle is Dena Rekow's million dollar achiever stamp set. I simply love it! So beautiful! It is just the right combination of stamp images and coordinating die cuts. So many beautiful creations that you can make with it. I demonstrated this card below on Facebook Live on my page last night. You can find that video here.

I started with a card sketch and the color combination from the paper pack, Berry Delightful, from Sale-a-bration. There are a lot of colors in that paper pack. I used a subset of those colors to create my card with. If you can't come up with a color combination for your projects I encourage you to look to the designer paper packs for inspiration. The designers do a fantastic job of combining colors, many I would never come up with on my own. You don't have to use all of the colors in the paper pack. You can choose some of them from the paper pack like I did on my card below. All of the paper packs have a list of colors used on the back of the paper pack.

I couldn't find the exact card sketch I used for inspiration. I may have adapted the one above. I love to find different card layouts from card sketches. You can do a search on Pinterest and find a bunch!
