Are you tired of winter? I think most of us are by this time of February. Here in Minnesota we have had many bitterly cold days and are ready for Spring! We know we have a ways to go to get there but we have hope. This ladybug set reminds me of Spring.
What does Spring mean to you? I love the change of seasons. When we finally see the snow melting, trees getting buds, green grass and early flowers poking through the earth it's an amazing feeling. So much joy and happiness to be had in Springtime! Our dog has not gotten near enough walks because of the bitter cold winter. He will be happy to see warmer days too!
If you look closely at this card you will see that I stamped the leaf, cut it out and then ran it through my die cut machine with the ornate floral embossing folder. I saw a card on pinterest that did this. I love the extra texture it gives the leaf. Also on the leaf is a raindrop shaped epoxy gem. One last thing of note is the second set of wings punched out with vellum cardstock. It's the little details that make a big difference!
