Summer is in full swing and the birds are chirping. This cute little bird stamp sang it's way into my heart. I created this bird fun fold card for a swap with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I used some bright and cheery colors anchored with the new Dots & Spots die cut out in Basic Black cardstock.

Summer is off to a nice start for me. I reserve Mondays to spend the day with my granddaughter, Nora. During the school year I was getting up extra early to drive to my daughter's house to arrive in time to watch Nora while Rebecca went to school(She's a 4th grade teacher). She lives just under an hour away so this was an early start. Since school isn't in session I can sleep in and still either drive to their house or they come to mine. I still get to spend the day with her but also get to sleep in a bit. A win win!
Another fun Summer thing for me is garage sales and estate sales. I have an e-commerce business where I thrift for fun vintage collectibles, Halloween, Christmas, toys, clothing, etc. Basically, whatever I find interesting and I think my customers will love. Garage and estate sales are in full swing so I'm enjoying the treasure hunting.
I am hosting a Stamping and Scrapbooking sale at my house on Friday, June 24. That will be a big event that keeps me very busy!
Nora's 1st birthday is June 30. We will be hosting her 1st birthday party at our house sometime in July.
My son, Sam, who lives in Texas is coming to visit for a month starting in mid July. We are so excited to have him here for an extended visit.
So Summer is shaping up to be very busy but very fun! I hope your Summer is off to a great start as well!
