I love to color. I have since I was a little girl. I enjoy many different coloring tools but my favorite is the stampin' blends. These alcohol markers come in Stampin' Up! colors and the smooth vivid color creates a beautifully colored image. I had this new stamp set, "Places in the Heart", sitting on my desk just waiting to be inked up and colored in. The nice thing about this image is that it's very sketchy with lots of detail. Once you have colored it in it looks like a professional did it.
I decided to add a sky and some ground. I place a punched out cloud onto my cardstock and took my blending brush inked with balmy blue ink to the cardstock to create "the sky". Once I was satisfied with that I used my blending brush with pear pizazz ink for "the ground". Here is the result.
The supplies used are listed below. You can order supplies from my website. I thought this would make a good card for a daycare provider, parent, grandparent, a neighbor who helps out with your child, etc.
