I wanted to make a quick card with the new Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. I just got it on Tuesday and couldn't wait to see what it looks like. You get circles, ovals and squares. It adds a nice finishing touch with little effort. My favorite! Here's a quick look at a card I put together in about 15 minutes.

Hi, welcome back! Starting today the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog has gone live and you can now order from it. This catalog is fantastic! I'm so excited to share it with you! This is my first project from the catalog. While I was in Minnesota I wanted to give my Minnesota friends that came to my stamping class a sneak peek at the new catalog. I made this card for all of my class attendees as a bonus.
The deer head is punched out with the Cookie Cutter builder punch. Then I punched it out twice more to get the "legs" of the deer. This clever idea was not my own. I case'd this idea from a fellow demonstrator, Marilyn Ge. The rest of the card was my design. Do you see that embossed background? It is a new kind of embossing folder that does a real deep impression to give an almost 3d effect. Very cool! Here are the details of the products used on this card.
