How are you doing? How are you really doing? I am doing good for the most part but there are moments and days where I'm struggling. This Covid-19 virus has changed us. Changed our lives. I don't worry that much during the day but I think it's creeping in to my sleep. I don't sleep well. I haven't slept well for years but this is also playing a part. I'm not trying to take you down to a dark place. I'm just trying to let you know where I'm at. I had all of these plans for while we are sheltering in place. You too? I haven't checked enough of them off my list. One of my goals was to stamp more, post more, do Facebook Live videos and send out more cards. I have made attempts at most of those but I'm not where I want to be. But you know what? That's ok. I can start again. I have started working on a newsletter service that I have been putting off for well over a year. I'm putting together a newsletter with a program that is out of my comfort zone. I'm going to get in my stamp room and stamp. I'm going to do things that make me happy. What about you? Have you blown through all of your goals and ready for more? Have you burrowed into a hole and not accomplished anything? Are you somewhere in between? Wherever you are at at this moment, you get to decide your next step. Take some time to do the things you love. Do something to keep in contact with others. I grew up in a large family of 10 kids. Two of their birthdays are this weekend. I have been horrible about even sending birthday cards to my siblings. Isn't that crazy? For someone who loves to make cards? So I'm going to get birthday cards out to my siblings. I'm going to send cards out to all my siblings. And some friends. And others I think need it. That's a lot of cards. Guess what? I love to stamp. Seems like a very doable thing. That's my goal for the coming week. How about you? Do you set goals? I think this is a good time to do that. Keeps us getting up and accomplishing things.
Ready for a card? This is one I made a few weeks ago when I was going to start making a bunch of cards to send out. This is a start.
This sentiment seems appropriate for the times. In fact, I'm finding many of my sentiment stamps are taking on a new meaning and becoming even more appropriate now. What sentiments have you found to be particularly fitting now?
The following is a list of supplies used for this card. Stampin' Up! is still open. You can still order supplies for all your crafty needs. It just might take a little bit longer than normal. I think we all get that. Even Amazon packages don't come as quickly as they used to. Maybe we can all learn more patience.
You can order all supplies used here from my website.
Thanks for stopping by today! I wish you great happiness and health!
