Bunny Rabbit Baby Floating See Through Card

I was asked by one of my stamp club members what stamp set I use for baby cards.  I don't currently have a specific baby set.  I have Places In the Heart stamp set which has images of mother and child and greetings that coordinate.  I decided to use The Easter Bunny stamp set for the main image and Places in the Heart stamp set for the greeting.  Many baby stamp sets have cute animal images.  I used one of the bunnies and went with some pastel type colors to create this baby card.  

The window sheet is a simple but fun twist to a traditional card!  I used the Lighter than Air designer series paper from the Spring mini catalog.  It is part of the Hot Air Balloon suite of products.  It lends itself well to a pastel baby type card as well as coordinating with the Hot Air Balloon suite of products. Fold over corner toucan card

February is an incredibly busy month for me.  My daughter's birthday is in early February, my birthday is in February, Valentine's day, Superbowl and of course Sale-a-bration!  We are in the last week of Sale-a-bration. I typically hold an in person Sale-a-bration Open house in January or February but it got away from me this year.  Both my daughter and I had milestone birthdays this year.  I shared a countdown calendar project I made for her birthday.  For my birthday I'm having extended celebrations.  Birthdays are a big deal for me.  I grew up in a family of 10 kids.  It was the one day we could be really special.  We got to choose the meal my mom made and the cake we wanted.  I'm not a big cake fan so I would usually request chocolate pie.  Yum!

Today I am sharing one of the cards we made in my monthly Hybrid Stamp Club.  I love this corner fold card!   It's an easy twist on a regular card.  That's my favorite kind of card!  It uses some Sale-a-bration product.  If you want this project then hurry up and order before the end of February!

Floral Arrow Fold Card

Sale-a-bration is winding down for the 2024 season.  Before it ends I want to share with you this card made with the beautiful Light and Airy designer series paper.  It can be found in the 2024 Sale-a-bration catalog or online on my website.  I loved the pretty and toned down look of the paper.  I wanted to make a Thinking of You/Sympathy card and felt this paper leant itself really well to this.  I made it into a fun fold card called the Arrow fold card.  Here is the card made with the Artistically Inked stamp and die bundle and with just the dies from the Paper Florist dies.  We made this for my monthly February Hybrid stamp club.  You can find the Youtube video here.

This card really needs to be seen in video form.  It's not hard just different.

Hearts are Blue

Milkshake Envelope fold card

How's Summer going?  Everyone I talk to says it is flying by for them.  It is for me as well.  We moved my youngest son and his girlfriend to Minnesota from Austin, Texas last week.  We got them out of the 100+ temperatures, whew!  But moving in the middle of those temperatures was definitely draining.  It is so nice to have them here with us in Minnesota, though.  It makes it all worth it.  I was so delighted to have all my kids back in Minnesota that within days I planned a family dinner with my kids and their significant others.  It did my momma heart good to have them all surrounding me at the table.  

Before we left for Texas I completed my monthly Hybrid stamp club cards so I would be ready to go this week.  That turned out to be a good plan.  I had just attended a Stampin' Up! demonstrator event and wanted the fresh ideas to stick with me before they disappeared.  This card didn't come from that event but it was inspired by my upline, Karen Titus.  It's called an envelope fun fold card even though no envelope was used to make this card.  It has the look of an envelope flap.

Light the Way card

We had a fun time this week making these cards in my in person and virtual stamp club!  I got the idea for this layout of the card from a swap card I got from a fellow demonstrator.  That was my starting point.  I wanted to use the Lighting the Way dies and stamps.  I pulled out some dsp from the Delightfully Eclectic pack and along the way this became a rather nautical looking card.  I love the way it turned out! 

Dies with small intricate parts like this one do best with the adhesive backed sheets.  You simply apply the adhesive sheets to a piece of the cardstock and then run it through the die cut machine.  You have essentially made a sticker out of the die.  Just peel and stick to your project!

Pop Up Lime card

This pop up panel card is so much fun to make!  This is one of the cards we made this month in my monthly Hybrid Stamp club.
