I've always been partial to Hawaiian themed parties so the new stamp set in the Summer mini catalog, Tropical Party, had to be mine!  I used a sketch from the Mojo Monday blog as a starting point.  Don't we all need a starting point?

I used a lot of new product on this card.  Check it out in the recipe.

Recipe:  Stamps:  Tropical Party, Rough Type(alphabet), Itty Bitty Bits(teeny flowers)

Ink:  Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise

Paper:  So Saffron, Old Olive, Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Island Oasis designer paper

Other:  1 3/4" circle punch, scallop circle from pennants sizzix die, 1/2' circle punch, punch pack circle punch, narrow rose red grosgrain ribbon, sewing machine, stampin' dimensionals, Square Lattice embossing folder, crystal effects on the itty bitty flowers

It's the season opener for the Minnesota Twins in their brand new outdoor stadium tonight.  It's supposed to rain, can you believe it?

Two scoops of Spring!

Nothing gets the juices flowing quite like new stamping toys!  I got my pre-order from the upcoming Summer mini catalog yesterday.  Just another perk of being a demonstrator-getting to order product early!  I busted open the box and just gazed upon all of the wonderul new product.  While my 10 year old was playing video games with his friend, I was next door in my craft room getting inky! I think iceream cones are about as yummy to stamp with as cupcakes!
